Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · Template pending final review by MSK Advisory's solicitor.

1. Who these terms cover

These terms govern your use of mskadvisory.co.uk and the MSK Advisory member desk, provided by MSK Advisory Limited (registration details to follow upon incorporation). By creating an account or engaging our services you accept these terms.

2. What we provide

MSK Advisory provides accounting services — such as bookkeeping support, Self Assessment and Corporation Tax preparation, VAT returns, payroll and advisory — together with online software (the "desk") that helps you keep records, raise invoices and see your position. Professional engagements are confirmed by a separate written engagement letter and fixed quote, which takes precedence for the services it covers.

3. Tools are estimates, not advice

Calculators, tax estimates, projections, payslips previews and the AI coach are illustrations built from the figures you enter and current published rates. They are educational and do not constitute personal tax, legal or financial advice. Formal advice and filings are provided only under an engagement letter by a qualified accountant.

4. Memberships and billing

Paid tiers (Basic and Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout, plus VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Where checkout completes, tier access is normally enabled the same day.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Our access

MSK Advisory (and freelance accountants we specifically assign to your business) can access your desk to deliver the service, support you and meet legal duties. Access is role-restricted and logged, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability in connection with the desk software is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim; liability for professional accounting engagements is governed by the relevant engagement letter and our professional indemnity insurance. We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied to us or for indirect losses.

8. Ending an account

You may close your account at any time and export your data first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, and will return your data on request subject to legal retention duties.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having jurisdiction. If any clause is found unenforceable the rest remain in force. We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes on the site.
